Evaluation

D has a pretty significant lisp and I have noticed recently that I've been translating a lot for him to other people, so I decided to have the school district evaluate him. On Friday morning, D was subjected to many "tests", eyesight, cognitive, hearing, speech...etc. We received the results of their findings that afternoon.

D is average or above average for everything....except...his hearing in his right ear. They said that there is a significant loss and it is recommended to visit an ENT to rule out anything medically wrong (wax). YIKES!! So, come Monday morn., I'll be on the phone with his pediatrician getting names of ENT's they recommend. OH! And he doesn't qualify for speech therapy.
