Lava Canyon
Kids hike day!! We decided to take them up to Lava Canyon. An undiscovered canyon until the St. Helens eruption in 1980 which changed the landscape. BEAUTIFUL, but buggy. Flies everywhere....not biting just bothersome. The hike, which in our tour book said was easy, was easy but dangerous! There are warning signs everywhere about being too close to the edge of the cliffs. GREAT place to bring 3 kids, right? RIGHT - it was fun and fabulous!
